Beautiful but the interiors were a disappointment to me. Just standard furniture that fits the period, but no impressive style. Everything is so bland. I love white interiors (although they painted over some rich wood in the bedroom fireplaces) but if the furniture is also bland, then there's just no spark. Add some color, some rich chinese porcelain, some art, some books, a hint of creativity. In 1 room the shelves are almost empty! Has this house been staged to sell or does someone actually live there?

I wish that in Charleston they would do a better job of putting the utilities underground have have better looking street lights.

They are spectacular homes but can be "difficult" to live in. Been there done that. Loved it then but glad to live in a brand new house in the desert.

Nice home but not sure why people need overly large homes like this unless you have 60 children. More to life than being tied down to a monster home like sailing, hiking, traveling, etc. You'd definitely need full time help around

What does this run?

This house needs a lot of work. eg. the front pillars have no entablature or entasis; too much white (gives a sterile feel to the home = soul crushing); interior trim is poorly designed... This house is little more then a builder's special, with little to no thought going into the design process. Shame, as it could have be a true beauty.

What is the elevation (above sealevel) and where is it on the flood maps? It would be worth more if the "waterfront" wasn't a drainage canal but instead a dockable shoreline.

Gah. I really hate to see the cheesy whatever these houses have been turned into. The interiors are awful. So tacky. Instead of the mess of a kitchen design, why not make the fireplaces functional again? Spend money in a sympathetic way.

This is horrific. It bears nothing of the original home. Why have a home in Charleston if you aren’t going to honor it’s heritage? Live somewhere else.
